What is CapZ?

CapZ is our bill spend management tool which puts mobile users firmly in control, keeping you informed of your usage limits. Our data alert system helps your business to see and monitor your telecommunications spend, helping you to understand when and how your data is being used, ensuring that you are on the correct tariff.

CapZ allows users to keep informed of company-wide and individual usage above and beyond your basic tariff – avoiding any bill shock situations. Bill capped customers can’t be billed over their set cap and our auto barring facility means that out-of-bundle charges can be controlled, taking away the worry of incurring additional costs.

How does CapZ work?

CapZ works in near real time to message the bill payer and mobile phone user when they reach their specified monthly spend cap. We offer two levels of alerting, usage and cost. We can send alerts when users reach 80% and 100% of their agreed monthly spend or usage threshold. You are able to select your spend cap / alerting value to suit your requirement e.g., when you approach 60% of your tariff, or incur £10.00 of call charges. The bill cap guarantees that your bill does not exceed the specified amount each month. The system collects customer data usage in real time and send alerts, via email or text message, when they are nearing their monthly limit.

Who Is Eligible?

Bill Spend Cap is exclusive to single user tariffs connected from 1 October 2018. For customers connected before 1 October 2018 or on sharer plans, they can take Auto Bar, or upgrade the customer to a compatible tariff. Data Flex plans became bill compatible in late 2019.
